My Mini had a flat battery today and when we got it going, all seems OK except for a symbol on the dash display. Its a picture of a steering wheel with a smaller picture of a lock beside it. I've looked in the manual, but can't see anything like it. Anyone seen this before?

 

Has to do with you electric steering wheel lock. If yellow, says to turn your steering wheel before starting. If red it says not to turn off the car, you probably won't be able to start it, take it to a dealer.

 

Makes sense that its something to do with the steering lock and the symbol is red, but the car is running fine now, I can turn it off and it will restart without a problem...I guess atrip to the dealer is the only real way to find out
