New car is here, still need to sell the JCW....

Picked up my 2008 C6 this weekend. Got a ridiculous deal on it. Sticker was $60,100 last year, fully loaded with every option except the 4LT interior. Paid $35k and only has 13k miles on it, never seen the rain or snow. Still need to sell my 2009 JCW Mini if anyone is interested. Pepper White/black roof, black sport stripes, cold weather package, MFSW, cream color line, rear fogs, $26,250

Obligatory C6 pics:

It is. Got a couple calls from here already but not sold yet....I have yet to find a JCW priced for less than I'm asking. Lots of lowball offers, guess that's just how things are right now. I had two people offer me $2k less than Carmax did.

Don't give away the JCW ... a seller with the right price will show... just give it time.

Been trying to give it away for a couple months. Had two deals worked out and when it came time to pay up, never heard back from the people. I guess this is why people sell to Carmax

Also, I am stuck not being able to drive the Vette yet due to some trouble getting things processed with the DMV....I drove it home from NY where I bought it and it was a blast. The power is amazing, even in stock form. Won't get to drive it again until I get the registration squared away, which could take another week or two. All of the extra options are pretty sweet too, liked them a lot more than I thought I would, especially the heads-up display and XM radio.

Oh yeah, and my car insurance went from $770 every 6 months on the Mini to $390 every 6 months on the Corvette....who would have guessed?

Only thing I can think of is older average age group and less miles/year average ....other than that, I dunno. Can't complain.

Awesome C6, can't believe the price you got it for. The only thing I don't like about the new Vettes is the body colored headlights, but other than that it's pretty slick

Sounds like you ARE pretty much giving away your JCW , I'm sure someone will offer you what you want, I can't believe no one has yet.

When I sold my Mazda3 a year or so ago when the economy was really in the tank, I got more selling it to a VW dealer that I'd bought a car from a week prior and I don't think they were cutting me any favors with their offered price.

I'm 20, and mine would be about 300 less for my MC if I was on my own insurance. Luckily, my parents let me be under theirs and let me pay them back, and it's still about $175 a month. I did get in one accident about 18 months ago, but not a bad one. Insurance has been much cheaper with any other car I've had or looked into buying.

If you are seriously interested, I'll buy you a plane ticket and give you gas money for the way home

It's already on ebay and all I've gotten is lowballers and tire kickers for the most part. People are trying to offer me $2k less than I got offered from Carmax.....give me a break.

Don't take this the wrong way but Buffalo NY is ALOT different than Long Island. Of course insurance rates are going to be different. And yes, I do believe that it is excessive
