I get it all the time. I have no idea how he's calculating that though. I'll ask my motoring advisor.

So last week I finally got to the point where I was saying "enough already" to Mission Control whenever I started the car (I'm at 2200 miles). My MINI came with Sirius, and I'll be into a story on the Beeb, pop out of the car for a few mins, come back and then miss another couple minutes while Mission Control chats away. Irritating! I turned it off (it's just the push of a button) for a week. I turned it back on for a 4 hour drive yesterday and it was fun having them back. I really do love Mission Control, and I think this will probably be a pattern I continue.

If you go on long road trips, one of the crew will randomly pop in with a MINI factoid after a few hours. "Did you know there is a MINI with an actual pool in it? You should look online." Thanks Coach.

I actually drive faster to work with the Camden than my other daily driver, a BMW 5-series. Even though my Bimmer can trounce the Camden in every performance category, it can't touch the Camden's fun to drive factor.

Picked up the Camden Saturday morning... OMG.
I LOVE IT.

And I'm not annoyed with Mission Control yet, lol. Little bit of cheese every so often but not too bad. My favorite quote so far, "I'm in love... Can you feel it?!" Hehe

I've been taking all my turns fast to get it to speak. The other day it said, "Gironimo!" Have fun with it---it's hard not to!

WOW! This color on the Camden is awesome!!! Congrats!

I got mine in Silver White and white roof last November and just a few minutes ago posted my first hello on the site. Of course I was not aware there was a Camden thread and created a new one...

I had been thinking of getting the blue and was not sure. Yours make me smile. I just cannot get over how striking that looks.

Wipe that grin off your face : )

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the color.
I do like the white set up too but... I'm partial to blue...

And yeahhhh, good luck with wiping the grin off, I haven't been able to yet! Hehehe

Question for Camden owners? How are the seats holding up so far, is the white hard to keep clean? Is the white part leather? Do you have lumbar adjustment?

Thanks! Yeah, I love the look of the blacked out xenons on the blue.

And my seats seem fine so far, lumbar support yes. No issues keeping it clean but I'm usually pretty good about interior.

Do you know if the white parts of the seat are leather?

What's so special about the Camden edition? (in all seriousness)

The cheeky answer is another way for Mini to sell more cars, ie. offering niche or "limited" editions such as the Camden and its Mayfair counterparts. When you have a very limited model lineup, you've got to be creative.

But in seriousness, mostly all cosmetic, and some, like the wheels and fender decals, limited to the Camden.

Pretty much...
The other side is that they've lumped together a bunch of popular options that you'd pay more for seperately in one package. The only thing I really "added" after that was the winter package. Everything else I wanted was already there.

I didn't get the white leather/cloth seats with my Camden and opted for the black leather instead. I remember seeing a Camden at my dealership that had been on the showroom floor for less than a day, and the white leather on the driver seat already had smudges on it.

I've noticed the white trim on the dash on the passenger's side tends to get smudged when passengers bump up against it. (Maybe my passengers are too dirty!)

Huh... I dunno, no issues for me so far... I haven't had a whole mess of people in there yet. But then again, I usually don't allow food in the car and all that so maybe it's just a matter of time before I have my, "OMG! YOU MADE A MESS OF MY CAR!" moment... lol

I just replaced the original floor mats with the solid black MINI carpet mats - they look so much better than the flimsy ones with the white piping that came with my Camden. They have a silver MINI logo that looks great with the silver and white Camden trim.
