New Mini Owner

I picked up my "new-to-me" 2010 Camden this weekend and just wanted to say hello to folks. Here is a pic of Molly with her new shoes :-)

Thanks! Sorry for the LATE reply. I've seen one parked at the Intelligentsia Coffee office/warehouse on San Fernando Road in Cypress Park once or twice. So far it's the only sighting in So Cal. I'm in 91201. I really enjoy driving the Camden on Mulholland and on the way to the beach from Katella Road off the 101. It's my daily and I get a lot of questions and compliments on the car. Even at the dealership.

Hello all!
New To me Camden. just turned 100k this week.
I have done lots of Maint to her already in the first week.
New tires, new tie rods inner and outer. New plugs, new air cleaner ( K&N) new cabin air cleaner. I had the T chain inspected and they shop said the cam area looked like new? Looks like the previous owner took really good care of her.
I am having the tranny oil changed tomorrow.

One question I had was what the hell does the button on the side of the seat do? I know up turns the heat on, What does middle and down do?
I cant find it in the owners manual, or on this forum?
Please feel free to provide any advice you may have as I need all the info I can get at this point. New to Mini's but not cars.
Mine is not an S it is an N12 motor 6 speed stick.
17 inch Silver Shield factory wheels.
Thanks so much for any help!
Pete

Welcome.

Do you have a picture of this button? The heated seats button(toggle) is in the center console.

Hi,
I recently bought used Mini Camden edition. I love the car, but previous owner removed mission control unit. I am looking for this unit all over the net, but I can't find SD card anywhere in Europe. I can get the unit, but without SD card.
Official dealer says that this part is not available anymore.

Does any of you can send me copy of SD card content and hopefully it will work with my unit?

Thank you,
Danijel

Hello everyone. I had a feeling something like this exsisted! This is my first MINI and I've had her almost 2 years. I've been loving every second of MINI ownership and I just got an AccessPort so its even better! Glad to be a member of NAM and happy I found this owners club.

Have folks had electrical issues with the Camden ? I know someone who bought one new and had a lot of problems with it like the alarm and Bluetooth. They felt it had a lot to do with the mission control. Are other folks seeing this ?

Have not heard that. Sounds like maybe the FRM, aka foot well module which can get wet from a leaking sunroof and cause all kinds of problems.

Thanks for the reply this was a relatively new dry AZ car at the time. Problems with the alarm, Bluetooth and so forth. Got so frustrated she traded it in. The dealer thought the issues were caused by the Camden mission control system.

Anyway do folks have any good pictures of their Camdens to share ?

Yes there are still new owners! Just bought this 2010 91kmi white silver in NC. Its from TN and last owner or the one just before did the chain, BONUS! Last owner only had it 9 mo and 2k mi! I read somewhere that there were only 50 being made. That has to be crap. How many were made?

Bought the car for my wife and then found a video of the very car from Knoxville!!
Don't know where the roof rack went or the front mats.
Also, where there any JCW? I see Diesel, base, S, and convertible.

Also I'm pretty sure there were more than 50 made. The emblem I believe is for the 50th anniversary not 50 made.

Thanks. Yes, my M.C. works and I made a copy of the chip.
I read somewhere that only 50 were made and not thinking that the 50 emblem is just for 50 or there would probably be a plaque with a number.
I have seen the wheel for sale for ~$350 on ECS or FCP but, of course, I can't find now.
