I'm waiting until early April to see if anything new comes up re: the redesigned engines (I'm in Canada, so I'm not sure if the announcement made by MINI USA to delay the redesigned engines until the Fall applies to us), and to see if the rates will go down even more! But in any event, I should be placing an order in April to give me enough time to get the car before the end of my current lease, which is in July.

Great color...I was looking at this very model and also considered the black roof but not sure it goes with the white mirror caps.

Yeah. I thought the combination was pretty nice.
You can opt out of the white mirror caps and go for the body color I think.

Some time down the road I may put white stripes up the hood but I haven't decided yet...

I think in Canada, the silver /white caps cannot be changed.

Do you guys feel that the white/striped mirror caps clash with the black roof (and the white silver body color)?

I don't think you can order black mirror caps with the Camden, and I always thought that the mirror caps and roof looked better if in the same color on a Mini.

I think they do clash a little, but if you put black mirror caps they will also clash with the body color... I think it would be a great idea to paint the mirror necks body color so that it flows nicely between the mirrors and doors

Black roof with the centered stripes or whatever they are called! So I can't imagine those black stripes with a white roof... I'm sure it's been done, but it seems like a less obvious combo to me.
