APR rate for 2010?

Hi all,

Newbie here, I'm glad to report that I have finally made up my mind to purchase a MCS in a couple of days. I would really like to take advantage of the 1.9% APR for 2009 models but the dealership I went to said they don't have any horizon blue left in stock. I was wondering if anybody knows about the APR rate for 2010 models. Thank you.

I haven't heard anything official, but a few posts I've read, people have been estimating in the 5% range.

I really hope that isn't true, but it'll most likely be the case since it is a new model year. Maybe you can do some bargaining if so.

Find a Credit Union where they base the % on the year of the car and your credit. I re-fied my MINI Loan from 5.48% down to 3.75% after just over a year!!

Why it's currently beyond 1.9 a frustrating fact to deal with. Even BMW has a 0.9, as do most other MFR's. I suppose it's all about demand, and there's still a large demand for the MINI. Even though in comparison it's a relatively expensive car, for what you get.

(Fun excluded )

Don't feel to bad. If i had waited a few more month i could of scored the 1.9% instead of the 3.9 i got in may. O well! Motor On!

My dealers ran out of '09 convertibles with Hi-fi... so I am playing the waiting game now as well... trying to balance the 2010s coming in and the rates going up...
