Had to redo the spoiler...

As many of you remember, I made this spoiler for my JCW.

The spoiler had a little too much curve at the top, not enough points on the end and didn't drop down enough on the glass.

Since I haven't found a stock spoiler to start on my "other/new" spoiler project, I thought I would go back and redo this one to more of my liking.

So here is the new spoiler.... subtle changes but nonetheless, different.

I painted it tonight, tomorrow I'll post pics once it's wetsanded, buffed and mounted.

Mark

This seems like it is becoming a perpetual project.

I like the points. They look like cat ears.

Can you post like 2 or 3 more angles of the finished product? I can't really tell if I like it or not.

Looks pretty good. Nice an edgy, without getting too ricer. Thumbed.

Does it help with down force?

Well, other than wetsanding and buffing, she's done. I was trying to get more of a GP style spoiler effect and I believe this is about as close as I can get it with this style spoiler.

Here's some pics. (excuse the quality... cell phone)

Have a number? I want to tint my rear fogs (I'm gonna leave the tail lights alone) and I like how yours blend in.

Well, guess it was too good to be true...

Installed the wing and decided it wasn't exactly the way I wanted it to be.

So, here we go AGAIN!

Resanded the tips...

Primed the spots needed....

Tomorrow, I'll paint it again and that's it. If I don't like it, I'll sell it.

Just for the record, I've had a few requests asking about the taillights and how good are they to see...

Here's a pic.

Here's a pic inside my garage during daytime.

It was a Prowler. I sold it about 2 weeks ago. 2000 with 8K miles.

I bought it for my father before he passed away last year. He drove it the night I drove it to Tampa and it sat in the garage for the next 2 months before he passed away.

The car is probably in the top dozen cars as a head turner but the thing is a gutless, terrible riding piece of crap. (not to mention expensive to fix)

I was going to do the 5.7 engine swap but at the time, it only had 5500 miles on it and I figured anyone buying a 2000 prowler with that kind of miles would want it stock.

I love the spoiler. Love how well made it looks, and it really suits the car.

Sorry to hear about your dad, that's a damn nice thing you did with the Prowler....

Great looking spoiler. Any chance of going to make them for sale?

Sorry about your dad.

Any thought of taking a mold off it once it's done ?
I'm not sure it'd work on a stock MCS but it seems to fit with the JCW bodykit.

If you're looking for a future project, I'd like to see something like the stock MCS spoiler with the jsart or palo uber lip integrated
