Proper activation of overboost feature

Does anybody know? Some say it kicks in automatically, some say only automatics have it and some say you need to depress gas pedal twice. Does anybody know for sure how this overboost spike of torque works Exactly????and I stress exactly !!!!!!

Good link above.

But no, every R56 has it and it does not matter if sport is on or not. It simply engages anytime you floor it below 4500. In non-sport mode...there is a distinct feeling when it activates. Also, it will not engage unless the motor has been completely warmed up.

Like the link says, SMASHING the throttle to the floor will almost always induce Overboost. Gently tipping in will yield normal low-boost levels. This obviously makes driving the car smoothly and quickly rather difficult!

This works great! I always wondered why sometimes it was hot and sometimes not. MASH that throttle and BOOM, it's hot!
