I bet you could trade for 2 Chevy 1 tons and they would throw in a Suburban.

Thanks, but no thanks. Enjoy your bimmer. Hope you don't miss Apple overmuch.

Ya seriously. Two months? Hardly enough time to enjoy the MINI, and only twice the time it took it make.

I love my MINI, wouldn't trade even for a profit at this point. It's exactly how I want it, and that's how it's gonna stay!

I have started a business that i need to carry clients to show homes I have bought and flipped, for that I needed a bigger car.

I hated to get rid of her but if some one is looking to sell this is the time, now the mini dealer here has plenty of stock on hand...so it will be slowing down a bit:(
Guys most of you would not trade, just saying ones who are....

Dude, good luck with the house flipping market.

If they can get somebody to finance in this market, they can afford to meet you at the house.

Hope you make enough to get another MINI, soon.

Cybergypsy, Good luck with your "new" bimmer.

Flipping houses in Florida. I feel that is a little risky right now. All the best. I may see you in the BMW forums.

Best of luck to you in your business.

I know you have stated several times that you have owned 60 (or was it 80?) cars. Wow! We are close in age and my MINI (leaving Southampton today!) will be my 9th.

What a sweet deal on your trade. Good for you! And nothing shabby about a BMW. And an R8, very nice! Plus you can always swipe your son's JCW when you get the urge.

I have been trying to sell privately but if dealer is paying well, then I guess I will just walk in and ask. Since I am planning to buy a bimmer when I sell the MINI it might work out. Besides, I pay the sales tax on the difference so it could be a better move.
Good luck with your business!

House flipping is so... dangerous right now. I hope that you have a back up plan because the bottom is falling out of the housing market and it will not start to recover for at least a year. I will keep my fingers crossed for you in that regard.

Congrats on the new bimmer! Pics?

WTF is an apple? You traded in some Apple stock and bought a base model 3 series?

Nothing wrong with getting a bimmer. I had three ('99 323i, '02 530i, '05 M3) before I got my JCW. I'm enjoying my MINI a lot, but do miss the M3 at times. My wife still has a '03 330ci. It's a great car.

Not a bad vehicle, for sure. It's too bad you had to lose the MINI to get it. :(
