R56 Starting to get disappointed :(
Ok things are getting worse instead of better. You know in a bad experience how something turns around and makes you not care as much, well it went the other way. So after they put the new clutch on, I checked real quick and could still slightly hear the clicking and had them check it. They had 2 lead techs check it they all agreed it was normal. Now that I made it home and it has warmed up, it is loader than at the dealer and sounds just like it did originally (although the clutch peddle itself has a little less texture to it. So now I am more mad I had to put over 510 miles on my car to have the fixed at another dealer and now the whole problem wasn't fully the pressure plate.
I thank the other dealer for replacing it, but now when I take it to my local dealer they have to find a fix because they cannot deny the clutch since its already been changed. This is ridiculous I paid for a new car, now I have to pay for an old sounding one that I have to fight to get repaired
(also, they put it in the whole new clutch kit and even showed me the old one which had no sign or wear and that the pressure plate was definitely bad. It also wasn't putting enough pressure down)

Do you have a lawyer? Go to your campus law office or faculty and ask for help. Bring a lawyer to the dealership to talk with the GM. A little push might help.

Well after the full clutch replace at the other dealer I journeyed to, I took it into my local dealer because the symptoms were still there. They know of the noise, but I told them how another dealer replaced the whole clutch right away. All they did was lube the fork/slave connection. They also did a one-year and by then it had time to cool so the noise was lessened and they figured they helped it. But once I took the 26 mile drive home, the noise was right back where it was.
They also ordered me the wrong part so I had to go back up the next week to get the 2nd water pump put in and get my window regulator replaced, which they made my window noise worse than it was before. It was raining that day so I couldn't tell until the next few days that it actually almost sounds like cutting glass at times
I'm a little busy with school right now, but I am beginning some processes
Yeah, you should get out of this car for good IMO. Ask them to buy it back from you as if it's a lemon and add for your downtime. If they give the runaround suggest that your family's neighbor is a lawyer and do they mind if he comes and talks to them after he gets a copy of the repair work.
