R56 Bluetooth Phone Ring Volume
Bluetooth Phone Ring Volume
According to everything I've read, there's no way to separately control the phone ring volume from the stereo volume. I don't listen to the radio loud, just enough to be able to enjoy it while driving down the freeway, but when the phone rings over the speakers it scares the s**t out of me. When I turn the phone volume down so my ears don't bleed, I wind up turning back up the volume so I can hear the stereo.
Does anyone know if you can separately control them???

With NAV voice instructions, you can change their volume independently from radio levels by adjusting it during the instruction. Get someone to call you and try that when it rings. I'm not sure whether it works, or not, but worth a try.
Robin's right, you adjust the volume know while the BT phone is either ringing or the "voice" is speaking to you (either the BT man or your caller's voice, or while it's ringing). It should stay at that volume for calls no matter what volume the radio is playing at.
