I want stripes on my AB/AB, but I'm not sure what!

I brought my MINI in yesterday to get silver bonnet stripes (which they were supposed to have at delivery), and turns out they ordered for a MC and not a MCS. This dealership blows, but anyway, moving on...

I don't know how the silver stripes are going to look, and I've been considering possibly getting sport stripes instead.

I feel like white would be too much of a contrast. I like the subtle look of black stripes in the configurator, but I'm not sure how it would look in real life.

Anyway, I'm looking for any and all suggestions for stripes on AB/AB. Thanks!

 

Personally, I like the white on black, though I think I'd prefer them extended all the way down the bumpers.

 

And I'd probably do roof stripes, too. This was my second choice combination, before my kids harassed me into going blue.

 

How do the roof stripes work with a sunroof?

 

You could try a ghost stripe (one shade lighter) or maybe a matte black stripe.

Real nice looking color combo and I'm digging the Air-Brakes, I put them on mine as well. I know the rear ones don't really accomplish much but they do give it a fatter look in the back.

 

Exactly. Find a local graphics shop and have them show you the film colors....I just did this yesterday. Rainbows of color. Though I'm due to have factory white bonnet stripes on my AB/W MCS due in just days, we were looking at window graphics I'll use for the BumperPlugs logo.

Anyway, you can go with a shade lighter than AB, or even a darker silver that should tie in just fine, and be strong and subtle enough to make it work.

Otherwise, your choices are factory silver or factory white. I like the white contrast on the AB, it's only a small bit, and I have a white roof.

 

I'd say go with Silver. If you had gotten the white roof and white wheels, then white would look good.

 

I'm in the same boat. I took posession of an AB/AB MCS 3 days ago. We didn't know what we wanted to do for stripes, so it's naked atm. Not sure if I want to do any at all. Right now though, I'm leaning toward sport stripes (or AC viper stripes). With that said, color is a real problem for me. I like white, but I also like flat black. It's kind of cool and stealthy.

 

my AB with White roof just came in, anyone have pics of white sports stripes vs white bonnet stripes on the AB? I have about 15 mins til im supposed to call the dealer and let him know what accessories i want.
