I have read a lot about the anthracite headliner. A lot of people recommend it. What is the benefit of it?
Aesthetics. I think it looks sleeker with my color scheme. The anthracite headliner is black instead of the standard light grey. That's the only real benefit.
Personally I like the darker roof console with the switches for the sunroof and ambient lighting....the standard light grey version looks kind of cheap to me.....
not too spendy... but i will have sunroof and that will take a lot of space. options add up so i am weeding out the stuff i can do without. I am getting cold weather pack, convenience, premium, xenon head, brushed alloy int., sirius sat, bonnet stripes, white turn sig, . 27.k I think thats good enough
That's like saying 'who cares what color your mirror caps are'
It's all about you-ification
Exactly. But I've found on this site if someone asks you the opinion of something and you don't like it and you actually express your opinion a lot the people who like it get all upset.
I thought anthracite looked nice, but my SA advised against it as creating "too dark" of an interior with other black upholstery options. Also said that the mood lighting showed better with the lighter headliner. I went standard.
As an FYI: our $77K Range Rover Rhino came with a black interior and grey headliner. When I brought it up, my wife simply said...hmm I never noticed, and even more, never cared!
LOL!
Honestly, many MC options are pretty "gimmicky" in my opinion, and are more a statement of personal fashion than added functionality, but that is just middle-aged man speaking.
