This was started in the Pepperwhite Peerage thread but noone has replied yet so I'm hoping maybe I can get better responses here!

I need your advice you guys.

As I am a novice in this MINI world, I have forgotten to add front fog lamps in my order and was not able to notice until yesterday! I ordered my MINI 2 1/2 weeks ago and was told production won't start 'til June 6th so I figured I still have time to make some minor additions, right? So I made a quick e-mail to my dealership [which is CREVIER], and they replied that as of of 7:53am GMT, my MINI's production status was upgraded to 150 and she was assigned her official VIN #. AND as of this morning, all the parts are being assembled for her assembly and no more additions can be made.

Production started earlier than expected, BUT THAT'S A GOOD THING! But I need help as to what to do now. I asked them how much it would cost me if I had them install it and his answer was "Last time I knew someone had this done they paid $750.... :-)". Seriously?? For a $250 front fog lamps!? I mean come on!! So what do I now? Anyone know of people selling these parts and someone who installs them for a cheaper price in the OC area?

Any advices/suggestions are most welcome! Thank you and have a good week ahead!

Find a aftermarket shop and have them install for alot cheaper

 

Tell them to cancel the order and place a new one, you'll be out a few weeks but at least you get what you want.

Wait, you forgot FRONT fog lights, I thought all minis came standard with those?

 

Its not standard on a normal MINI i think only on MCS

 

Like Berilon said, standard MCs don't have them. From the configurator it looks like they're in the same spot in R56 MCs as the parking lights though - do front fog lights wind up having a dual function or is the configurator misleading?
