Is the sunroof in the R56 one-touch?

Is the sunroof in the r56 cooper S supposed to slide back with a single click of the sunroof lever? Are you supposed to hold the lever back until the sunroof completely opens? Thanks guys.

One touch vents the roof, tilting the two panels. Holding the switch opens the roof, sliding the front panel all the way back.

I have to disagree, one touch tilts the two panels, another one touch slides the front panel back.

Mine is a UK spec '08 Cooper though. Might be different.

Yup, it's just we North Americans that don't get the one-touch open.

also, do all 2008 sunroofs have the mesh wind deflector? My friend has a 2004 and his deflector is two plastic flaps.

I think the mesh began in 2007
