I DID IT!

You all did nothing but convince me to DO IT! And boy, is she fun to drive!!
2008 Oxygen Blue- only had 15 miles on her at the time of purchase.
I was originally going to order one but by the time I added on everything I thought would be cool to have, the price was out of my budget, so I was going to have to slim down. I ended up finding this one on the lot at my local dealer- it pretty much had the handful of things I was looking for (and could afford)- the premium package, cold weather package, and the leatherette. The only thing it didn't have that I wanted were the stripes and chrome line exterior.....BUT, the dealer said those were the two things they could do for me!!! SOLD! I've got an appointment later this week.
I was going to wait to reveal her until I got the stripes and chrome but I can't wait. I'll wait to post a pic in the Oxygen Blue thread when she's all done.
Meet WRIGLEY!!! (Yes, I'm from Chicago and a die hard CUBS fan. She's a 2008 which of course all die hard Cubs fans believe this is our year.....sooooo I figured it was the PERFECT name for her)

I noticed she gets A LOT of looks when I'm out driving. The other day, this guy almost ran into the curb because he was looking over his shoulder at me when passing! When we stopped at the stoplight, he asked me what I was driving. 
Oh and the other mini drivers who honk and wave? Totally fun!

Wrigley is a great name, but I was thinking"Wrigley's Gum" but then again it is kind of a bubble gum blue! A friend of mine also just bought an 08 PW/B Cooper with black hood stripes, checkered rearview and side mirrors, I sometimes I think she is more excited about the ad on's than the car itself but that's what personalizes them so..... go for the stripes make it yours, what you like, it's not about what other's think. Hearty congratulations. It's a find looking MINI. I just brought my first MINI homes less than 2 weeks ago. My wife has already ordered her Clubman, Chile Red with black top and stripes. She may be naming it Fenway or Sox. We are die hard Red Sox fans. We have broken our drought, hope you can do the same this year. Good luck and happy motoring.

Nice looking car. You'll love it (Wrigley that is). As for the Cubs' so far promising season I'd wait a few months before proclaiming the end of the 100 year draught. We all know too well what the Cubbies are capable of coming down the stretch (any Mets fans out there? They know the drill <makes choking sound>).
