Say mwittstock, I see that your from Illinois. Which dealer did you purchase Prudence from? I'm looking to place an order some time soon and I was wondering how your experience with the dealer went.

 

Great looking car. What type of wheels are those?

 

I went with Bill Jacobs in Naperville. Everyone was professional, not pushy, let me take out multiple MINI’s on my own and kept me in the loop through the entire wait.

 

They are from TireRack.com made by Sport Tuning. They are on the heavy side, but the look makes up for that....

Tirerack is awesome too, I had these wheels and tires in one day.

Congrats on your new car. I recently ordered one very similar to Prudence from Knauz in Lake Bluff. She's on a ship on her way to the states. Enjoy!

I feel rather foolish because after looking at the pics of Prudence, I noticed the license plate frame with the dealers name on it... duh!

May I ask if you were you able to negotiate with Bill Jacobs or was the dealer unwilling to budge on price? MSRP? Mark-ups?

Any info you can offer is most appreciated.

My condolences on having to live in Illinois... land of obsessive and ridiculous legislation. You can't even carry a gun in your state unless you've been annointed from above by God Almighty with the ghost of Mother Teresa as your witness.

 

Huge Beatles fan and one of my favorite songs by John Lennon is Dear Prudence! It also means wisdom and the MINI has a ton of that.
