Well, The Mudflaps Just Paid for Themselves.

Fluke 10 minute hailstorm just hit the area. Just in time for the commute home.

Wow, that must have been a lot of hail on the ground, weird! At least no dents, that would have been a hail of a lot worse

I bought some last weekend and installed front and rear myself. Instead of marking the holes with a pin i just ran a small drill through the holes. It was really easy. Took about an hour and a half taking my time especially on the first one. I would recommend making sure the holes and "nuts" are lined up correctly by dry fitting them first then unbolt them. Only then start the tape mounting proceedure. But on a scale of 1-10 its an easy 2. Me personally,I would be kicking myself if I had paid to have them installed.
No Offense to anyone who did.

How do mudflaps protect your car from hail? What ever is on the road would just be crushed ice like snow... No?

No. Shock wave ripple effect.

I would have waited. Its the cars going the other direction that makes it so bad.
