Lighting Package?

Thanks for your ongoing discussions. Several days of lurking helped me when I ordered my MCS on Saturday.

The dealer gave me a really nice (non-mini) MINI brochure. In it, there are several option packages described. One of these is a "lighting package" that apparently provides reading lights, footwell lights, etc. The icons in the brochure indicate it as an option for Cooper and S.

I cannot find this package in the configurator and I didn't order it. I also don't see it included in any of the larger option packages (e.g. convenience, luxury) that I didn't order.

Is the overhead console with reading lights, the footwell lights, the under door lights, etc. standard in the U.S.? If not, where is it hidden in the configurator, and do you know if I can modify my configuration at this point? The car is indicated as ordered but not scheduled.

If yours is a US car, I wonder where the brochure came from.

The R56 booklet I got from the dealer listed it as well but as an option, like the OP described. I think it also lists ASTC as optional on the regular Cooper even though it's listed as standard on the features list at miniusa.com.

The brochure (a very nice piece of sales collateral) was printed in Germany. I suspect it's a non-localized English language piece. Perhaps the lighting package, the automatic traction control, etc. are offered as options in the UK.

I also had some confusion between the brochure and the online mini configurator, but my MA told me to always go off the information provided on the usa website do to the fact that it is most current and most updated information mini offers.
