Exactly what the title says.
IM BACK!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!! after 9 months and 9 days after the tragic accident that took my first mini (we wont dwell on the past ) I finally put the order in for my mini that should have never left. long story why i couldn’t have placed a order sooner. new england weather, insurance, school...

But its finally done!! And now after the longest 9 months of my life...comes another 6 weeks hahaha but these shall be a good 6 weeks because i know my babys on the way! instead of dreading about every day it got put off it prolonged the wait.

I got it the exact same way as my first because i barely got to experience and enjoy that one it was awesome and looked great.

Heres the breakdown:
Chili Red with Black roof and stripes (personal fav color combo )
17" Crown spokes with all seasons (gotta love new england weather :/ no matter i was eyeing the new JCW R113s anyway and will hook them up with some nice performance tires )
Xenon headlights
Premium Package (Hi-Fi...Yes! Highway Stars gonna be the christening song)
Cold Weather package (power folding mirror! nifty! )
Carbon Black Lounge Leather
Rooster Red color line
Piano Black trim
Chrome line interior
Bluetooth with USB input (going to make sooo much use of Usb so sweet)
Multi-function Steering wheel

Its going to be good to be back and part of the club. i missed the many Mini Hi Fives and honks at fellow Mini motorist. i honestly think when im reunited again with my car everything is going to be much much better. it was a ok 9 months.

 

Sad to hear you lost your 1st MINI. But alas...You will be Enjoying your New MINI in no time!!

 

Congrats., but no DSC? You lost the previous car to an accident and didn't go for DSC?

 

i had DSC in the previous one because of the sport package, but it didnt do me anygood last time mainly cuzz it was a bad decision that cost me the first one which i shall not be making that mistake again. im not planning on driving the car in bad weather at all so i didnt really deem it needed, but by all means influence me in why it'd be good to have. because other than sliding sideways on ice i dont know really where i'd need it. accident avoidence maybe? and doesn't it only acitivate under extreme cases anyway? i belive i saw the symbol flash once in a quick turn but that was it, not any other time in my motoring while i had it.

Its probably the cheapest insurance you can buy, good for any weather. Goes along with your airbags for the safety aspect.

 

Get DSC. If it only activates once, it may be the one time that saves your butt. Mini is going to make it standard in 09, already is on the clubman. The government is requiring all new cars to have it in 2011 or 12.
