Has anyone ever used a motive power bleader on the MINI? I have one and test fit the cap to the brake reservoir and it fit fine. Also does anyone know what the bleed sequence for the R56 MCS would be?

I've used one on my R53 to flush the hydraulic system when I replaced pads & rotors. It worked very well. Bleed sequence is RR, LR, RF, LF, clutch master cylinder.

On the R56, does the brake and clutch share the same hydraulic system? Where is the bleeder valve for the clutch line located?

I used mine on Wed. to completely flush my stock fluid with Super Blue after putting SS lines on my R56 .

Had no problems whatsoever, pressed the tank up to 10 psig and that was good to do all 4 corners. Be careful though, if you loosen up the bleed screw a little too much some air seems to leak through the threads and get entrained in the fluid flow. This makes it look like you've still got air in the lines. Seems like fluid should come out of the threads but it didn't. If you wiggle the bleed screw a little bit you can see how it affects the bubbles.

Where did you get the SS lines from?

Chad and Tori at Detroit Tuned. Can't recommend them enough.

This sequence sounds good! The reservoir is in the front left of the car, so RR, LR, RF, LF, clutch makes sense to me. The Motive bleeder rocks; it makes bleeding/flushing the system easy!
