dealer seems to still have quite a few 07 leftovers sitting on the lot.. has anyone bought one of leftover 07s, and for how much?

 

I almost bought one and after going to three dealers found that the they would take anywhere from 0-$1000 off. One dealer would take nothing off, one $1000 and the third offered "extras" for no money.
Didn't seem much of a deal, so I'm picking up an 08 this Saturday instead.

 

I bought a new 07 MCS and go $1000 off and floor mats, armrest & bonnet stripes. Also Mini USA is offering 4.9% financing.

 

Mini of South Atlanta is giving $2,000 off 07 coopers.

 

I got $1733 off in San Diego. I paid for the floormats though...

I was given $1k concession for dealer installed accessories and also had the option of 4.9% but my CU beat that! If you are nice about how you haggle, there is always a little bit of wiggle room for last yrs cars that have been sitting on the lot.

Depending on the car, I was able to get $1000+ off. An '08 would have run about $700 over an MSRP '07 with the options that I wanted. They moved some things around in the packages.

 

Got $1300 off for a 07 MC on December 31. Of course it depends on the options. I had automatic, bluetooth and cold weather package. They gave the mats for free and a free tank of gas.

 

My local dealer was advertising $1000 off of MSRP for remaining '07s, though you might have been able to get them lower with some hard bargaining. But I think they're fresh out now.
