R56 Does the interior red interior lining match chili red?
If you are talking about the rooster red color line and seats, it does match pretty well. If anything it is slightly darker which is good for an interior surface. But they are made for each other, that is for sure. If you are talking about theother red leather interior (lounge?) then I am not sure, but I don't think it goes well with the Chili exterior.

I got to see it on the lot yesterday and it looks, so very very nice. The color's not an exact match, but it doesn't clash. MINI seems to be very sensitive about not letting you have completely horrible color combinations. (Though I can't say I imagine they sell a lot of BRG MINIs with the red lounge leather interior except in the North Pole.)
I have that same interior except I have the black cloth seats with red leather accents. The rooster red line and the red leather accents really set off the car. What gives it a classy feel is if you get the piano black accent lines with chrome line interior. The only thing I wish I had was the anthracite headliner to complete the 'stepping into a red&black coal mine' appearance.

The anthracite headliner is a definite must if you're going for any sort of black interior look.
I was torn between the brushed alloy and the piano black. In the end I went alloy because it seemed less common, got much less fingerprinty, and just felt cool. I love the textured effect.
Saying you have red leather seats might be a bit confusing as it tends to make people assume you have the red lounge leather seats.

I like the piano black as it's a quick and easy clean and it doesnt take away from the black & red motif. The thing that sticks out like sore thumb to me are the cheesy painted plastic bits on the steering wheel
The one accesory you must get....it's from aesthetic creations, the 'actual size' sticker!
I'm so tickled whenever I walk out to my MINI and see that!
