Be brave! And think of it as being better than just trying to screw the screws in and having them go off center!

My MCS is completly stock (as long as you count factory accessories and packages stock). I am perfectly happy with my car the way that it came from the factory. Not to say that I don't have any mods planned, but this talk of MINIs requiring mods is BS IMHO.

Bone stock Cooper here. Dialed it in from the factory and there's no point in messin' w/ perfection. I did add a shorty antenna and a chrome John Cooper siggy to the boot, but I did that in the first 10 minutes I had the car. This is my second Cooper...the first remains bone stock, too!!!

My Cooper is stock except I added my satellite radio -- sacrificed a cup holder for it.

Quite right, I don't believe you have to have mods on your Cooper. I'm just going to do a few things to my car to add a little personal touch, but I don't think I'm going to go crazy. Also my knowledge on doing this type of stuff is very limited and I only want to do the stuff I know I can do myself.

Count me in the "stock" group.......

It's our commuter car and love driving it daily .....
It'll remain stock maybe a stubby just to mix it up

Cheers

Mine is stock except for a V1 detector and I painted the calipers and hubs (silver to blend in but keep the hub from rusting).

No plans for any other mods. Has enough power for me and handles great.

I drive mine everyday 90 miles round trip to work, in the snow and rain. Going to keep it stock and get another one in two years when the lease is up on this one.

Although, I have to admit, it would be fun to have one for modding and one for commuting

I too commute around 90 mi per day in my non-S. I bought the car almost as much for its fuel economy as I did for the pleasure of driving it. Now, I have a car that's fun as hell to drive AND that I have to fill up about once per work week.

Forgot to mention, I won't be doing any major mods to him, just cosmetic. I have a Euro plate with his name on it (not sure how I'm going to attach it yet if I decide to put it on), I have his name ready to go on in chrome letters, and I have a pair of Phat Stripes coming in from Aesthetic Creations any day. I'll probably get a small antenna as well, but that's it for "mods." I'm a teacher.. I don't have the money for invasive mods anyway!
