Mini USA says my mini is on its way to the dealer! Crappy part is I will not be able to pick it up for two more weeks! This is going to kill me

The wait must be the worst part....hang in there; it will be worth it.

Take solace in your progress up to now. You have that much behind you, already.
Plan your first trip. Make it a good one.

This close to Christmas, they should have mailed early.

use the time to look at your first set of mods.

The wait is almost as fun as the delivery, people !!

Enjoy it... make a calendar and "X" off the days.... visit the configurator daily to stare at the image of your baby... as rockridge stated, start planning your mods...

The anticipation is something you'll remember almost as long as you'll remember the MINI.

I can relate....I had the car in my garage and couldn't drive it for 2 weeks due to registration timing and issues.

Be patient, grasshopper.

No waiting on my part. I decided the day before...."I am going to buy a MINI"..the next day, went to the dealer and in about 2 hours, drove off...

Argh! The waiting! I'm tempted to go down to the dealer lot and skulk around. They can't arrest you for taking your own car for a joyride, can they? (Well, I guess they can if you haven't paid for it yet. (And you accidentally run over the guy installing your stripes while you're making your get away.))

Personally ..... I've found that showing a bit of kindness on your part goes a long way. Have several pizzas sent to the dealership around 11:45 AM with a note saying how much you appreciate their hard work and that you can't wait to get your new MINI.

I give beer and peanuts to the guy that works on my Harley. I can get an appointment on a minutes notice!

I have re-wired my Chevy mechanics lights on his Silverado so the lows stay on with his Hi-Beams (one way diode), and bring donuts to the service desk. Again I can get an appointment on a minutes notice. They also do FREE code scans for me anytime.

It makes them feel good and also makes you feel good!!
