How Big Is the Fuel Tank For the MCS

I read the specs and says 13.2 US Gallons, does that include the reserve? Or is the reserve extra? I drove my car until the last fuel light was on. Don't know if is better to fill it at about 2 lights? Just don't want to run out of fuel on a long trip.

13.2 includes reserve.

There was a long discussion on here about this very subject a few months ago. I believe the final verdict was 13.2 for both the MCS and MC's.

I say start window shopping for gas at about 1/2 a tank. Internal fuel pumps us the fuel to cool them. Why risk running it in a dry tank?

I just put 13.285 gallons in on Saturday. I was down to one bar and the OBC said I had a range of 27 miles left, which leads me to believe its really about 14 gallons or something is not computing right.

You filled the filler neck

The tank itself is 13.2. You are filling the pipe from the door to the tank that is why you got more fuel in there.

I got 14.4 gallons in on my last fillup. There was still one light on before the gas pump on the indicator and 10 miles left.??????/

Mine is at one bar and displaying 9 miles left. How much further should I push it? I don't think my family would appreciate it if I pulled a Kramer stunt on Thanksgiving.

Tell you what--why doesn't someone run it dry--preferably on the freeway during rush hour, or out in the middle of the desert--and find out how many gallons it takes?
