Flat Tow

I have an order in for a 2008. I want to flat tow it behind a Class A motorhome. Does anyone out there flat tow a mini and if so whose tow bars do you use and have you had any unique experiences doing so?

Thanks

Jeff S.

Jeff, I don't have any personal experience towing a Mini behind a motorhome, however I recently ran into a fella and his wife who are, and they're using a Master Tow tow-dollie. I like the idea of keeping the front wheels up and the back wheels down.

Yup you can't flat tow a MINI. Must have the front wheels off the ground.

Thanks--I see Zaino--I understand that to be the polish/wax. Am I correct. I have a 7 year old Audi TT roadster that I Zaino-ed and have never waxed since. Are you happy with it?

I've been using Zaino since 2000, when I had a '00 Corvette (a Corvette owner buddy of mine turned me onto it). I have yet to find anything I like better, although some of the folks in here like other products better.

I will have to say that I don't use it on my Chevy P.U.. I use Meguiars XT on it - (it's "just a truck"...)

towing

i have had some great success with the full sized auto transports that uhaul sells. they rent some too, but they also sell outt heir old rental equipment. the auto transports are better than the tow dollys because the tow dollys just have the two front wheels off the ground

I have a 2002 Cooper S and have flat towed for 4 years, over 25,000 miles with no problems. car was under warranty when first towed and dealer new about it and warranty still valid. So small it follows like a dream and no brakes needed. We are using the Road Master EZ2 Tow Bar with removable plates.
