I'm on the east coast in the Washington DC metro area and I haven't seen a commercial yet. Are they selective in advertisement? There are tons of cooper drivers in downtown DC.

 

To my knowledge, MINI has never done a TV commercial. I've only seen bill boards and print ads. I guess they figure they don't really NEED to advertise because they sell so well anyway. I've seen them IN commercials and in some movies of course.

i have never seen a televised mini ad either, but if you search on youtube, theres plenty.

 

I guess that is why people here have a low perception of what the car can do in terms of speed and performance.

The performance numbers that I spit out to people at work doesn't match what I actually feel when driving it.

 

i have seen them on ESPN... but very rarely. They do exist as Firebolt pointed out and they do air. Ive never seen one on local broadcast though.

 

come to think about it, I never have either.
I just pop in the "Italian Job" and there it is...

 

I've seen one a few times, actually. It was at least a year ago, though.

I saw a commercial this morning ~ 9am for St.Louis Mini as I was waiting in a doctors office. It showed the local Mini sales manager but parts of it looked too slick to be a just a local campaign. Maybe you just gota watch morning TV?

 

I've seen several on national cable networks... those linked in posts above.

But the FUNNIEST one... a local add that says, "MINI Coopers starting at $17K". Yeah, right... does it come with a steering wheel ?? :impatient

 

I was wondering about this as well. I've seen clips on You Tube but never one on actual TV. Then again my TV never leaves CNN, ABC, or NBC and I only really watch in the evening so who knows...
