As we all know, "It isn't easy being green."

 

Munchie, after my cat, which is short for "Munchken". The cat got that name being the 'runt of the litter' with the heart of a tiger.

 

After I photoshopped a preview of my MINI that was on order, a member on my local club board mentioned that it looked very "Stormtrooper" with the all pepper white. So he is named Jango after the "Father" of all Stormtroopers.

 

The wife named her's Percy. It had that British sound to it.

I thought it might be for Percy Sledge, but then again, the only thing two intrested people could do in the back seat of a MINI is discuss finding a place to make out.

Her name is Zoe... and she isn't even here yet.. :(

 

i totally almost named my car after Mr. Humphries... then I thought about Mollie (sugden ie. Ms. Slocum)... i love that show...

 

I named her Zoey... short for a well known anti-depressent. Who needs a doc when a Mini cures just about everything...

 

Molly is a very tough, albeit cute, little girl -- dressed-up nicely, and suppressing an alluring growl. Because of her constitution, she handles her curves well and is always ready to go. Faster.

She got her name in Colorado. After chasing through some twisty mountain roads, we stopped at a molybdenum mine reclamation project, and, looking into the open pit, she was transfixed, as if she had discovered her roots. (Actually, it might have been the parking brake . . . ) Hence, "Molly," named after molybdenum, which alloys other metals to usefulness and incredible strength.

My affinity for Molly may be related to the fact that my own body contains approximately 0.012893600000000002 grams of molybdenum, an element which apparently is necessary to all species. Making me an alloy of her . . .

Wait, this is taking an unnatural turn . . .

It's just a name, okay?

(And please do not tell Click and Clack. They think it's crazy to name a car.)

 

When you dive and have a Hyper Blue MINI...the only name that fit was
Cousteau, of course

 

"Miss Blanche" is somewhere in southern California, I think. She came in on the Manon 10/16 (?). Her Pepper White is tempered with her black hood and bonnet stripes.

So glad I have found my people. I like that we name our cars.

Anyone know how long it will take the newly delivered MINIs to make it to the Bay Area?

 

Scooter, it just seemed to become obvious as we scooted around trying to get the break in miles behind us. Scooter is a hoot to drive, we take some spirited mountain drives when the mood strikes us.

 

My Mini's name is Kelvin. It's named after the british scientist who developed the scale for absolute temperature. I'm a science teacher. It seemed appropriate at the time. My second choice was Brutus I'm a graduate of THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY. It just seemed overused though. I wanted something more unique.

 

This leads to the all-too-obvious question: how fast can Kelvin do Absolute Zero to Sixty?

Well as of now his name will be Clive but upon arrival he might look like someone else

 

Baddog.....Struggled with a name until my dog swallowed one of the Mini remotes.

 

I named mine Weebiscuit, after the racehorse Seabiscuit....both are small, wierd looking and fast

 

Uncle Albert.....you've all heard it.

 

My daughter's a LOTR nut...so with a PW/B it was a natural!

 

I named mine "Bean" after one of my very favorite drinks, the Java Monster "Mean Bean" drink. I applied for personalized plates that say Bean. I can't wait to get them!

 

 

I've been struggling with a name for my car. It has had a few dents. I like Arthur Dent from So Long and Thanks for All the Fish, but I have a good friend named Arthur who witnessed one of the dents, so it would seem a bit odd.

I guess I could name it Minnie Driver, but the car doesn't really seem feminine.

Hmm.
