i have a tough time naming things or body parts that i hold dear to me.

I haven't gotten my car yet, but I've already named her "Bella" because she's so pretty

"Vlad" the Impaler. All black 2008 MCS, totally JCW'd out, I'm ordering him on Sunday. Name chosen because of all the authentically cute Mini names out there- someone must strive to maintain the balance. And his name shall be Vlad...

 

I think naming your car is a chick thing.

Besides, Ian Fleming, spy for Britain, creator of James Bond AND the writer of the book Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (not the movie version, the British version where the Pott family blows up Joe the Monster's stash of explosives in France) says that cars with heart and soul need names! You're not going to get more manly than Fleming!!

Mine is Marietta...my wife and I drove from Waco to Marietta (Atlanta) to pick her up...love at first sight...and about 1750 miles roundtrip in 2 days...the name was just natural!

 

Well, in defense of...er...all girls/women...I've had 3 cars previously and this is the only one I wanted to name. It's also the cutest one..coincidence?? I think not...

 

I think my car has FINALLY revealed its name to me.. It is definitely female since she yells at me through the GPS whenever I miss a turn..

It goes with the license plate I just ordered.

"The passionate and sometimes foolish and unfounded pursuit of perfection" -- from Don Quixote.. So she HAS to be DONNA Q!

When I bought my '07 Pepper White/Black Cooper 'S', I lived in the mountains of Virginia. So the name of my MINI is " White Lightnin' ". I had a Chili Red/White '02 Cooper 'S' that was named " CHILIBEAN ".

I'm thinking of naming my Lightning Blue S, Mr. Blue, from Reservoir Dogs, as in "has anybody seen Mr. Blue?"

I originally though the car would be female, but after driving it a few weeks, I don't think so anymore. Too decisive to be female.
