I've always though naming cars was kind of goofy, but with a MINI you almost have to name it -- my wife wanted Bumblebee as it is MY w/ Blk, I didn't care but one day my mind sort ran off and thought of that silly TV commercial for nasal spray with that bee that sounds like Antonio Banderas, so I thought Antonio kind of fits the car...but happy wife, happy life. She settled with Bumbles, named by my niece.

We have named ours Charlie. It's the name the Smart dealer gave the computer in charge of shifting the crappy gearbox. I suppose the strategy was that if the computer had a cute name we wouldn't notice the 23 minute delay between shifts. Didn't work..... we noticed.

 

Mine is Bella (blue) and my husband's is The Jiminni Machine.

Our cars were named before we took delivery.
