Removing / Replacing door handle 2007 (English Oak / Black Piano)

I was at the dealer today - I have been giving some thought to replacing my Black Piano with the English Oak {2007 Cooper} - Cost is up there but the wife is liking it... Taking the trim off the hidden comp looks to be straight forward, Scott at EB showed me the trim piece removed from the drivers side - it is just pulled off - 3 metal push/pull pins on the back side. Now the door pulls/handle... The padded part just pulls off from the top, very easy - from there you can see one screw holding the rear portion of the grip (black piano/oak/bushed alloy) the front portion goes unger the little speaker area -This is the question here, has anyone ever removed that screw and taken off the grip - this is just the front portion of the grip that gets changed - Scott at EB had not done this before and did not have time to research it... is there another screw behind the little speaker area??? OK shade tree mechs out there... what do ya think...

No thanks,,, I did see my first Mini out back,,, nice but I will love the leather... I really like the Black Piano - wife "thinks" she likes the Oak - saw one there, nice - looks a little plastic but nice - I would have to all the work my self R&R only... that little piece on the door has me stumped... Before I do anything - I will drive the car for some time and make sure the wife wants this... doing it on during the order would be best - this way, I can have it either/both ways... Thought about looking you up but the weather this am was not in favor - on the Harley....

I guess it's a good thing for your MA that you work so much!

Hurry up and get that car! It's sooo much fun to drive!

Michael really needs to stay out of the show room and away from the dealer till he takes delivery.

What piece is English Oak on the door? I thought the English Oak came with a Piano Black piece on the door.

What price did you find for the dash pieces of English Oak?

on the door where you would place your hand (very short piece just in front of the long/large pad - Yes the circle is Piano Black.

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...77&hg=51&fg=50 #12 is the piece I am talking about - you can see the hole for the screw in the rear but nothing up front???

$130 for each dash piece..
