turboback dyno comparison

Alta is claiming 30+whp / tq, from the turboback setup with an intake...

jcspeed, is claiming 10whp / 3 tq from the turboback...

i'm confused..

From the R56 I drove in before and after I would say 10whp is about right and 5 to 10whp from and intake.

I thought 30hp gain was from all the mods Alta has available...including FMIC.
10 from downpipe, 10 from catback, and 10 from fmic..... no?

fmic=front mounted intercooler, I think.

Correct, almost. 30hp was also including the replacement turbo inlet pipe and boost tubes.

So intake, turboback exhaust, Freakin' Moron In Cambodia, boost tubes, and turbo inlet pipe = 30 horses.

Faster Motoring In a Can? It would be great to test drive a MINI with all the mods - can't imagine what another 30whp would feel like. But then, I'd be looking for ways to come up with the cash to add them to my own MINI.
