Car Design Idea: Dark Silver with Union Jack Theme

I am going to order an MCS and have some thoughts on how to do the appearance. Inspired by a few of your cars I have decided that the UNION JACK looks GREAT with the Dark Silver color. I was inspired by this:

And this:

I would go with these types of stripes, but with blue in the center and red on the outer stripes. No white in the gaps. Let the Dark Silver show through there.

And similar to this look, but with a single blue stripe blue instead of black:

I would also add the sunroof-only Union Jack later on a Dark Silver roof.

Interior would be Rooster Red/Black Seats and Rooster Red trim package.

This will see track time, so I am going with JCW suspension, DSC, and Limited Slip.

Thoughts?

Scratch all that, and go with a grey/black "Jacked Up" paint job

Edit: For pics. Imagine these with a DS/Black/White theme

I think you can get away with a tiny bit of the red/white/blue UJ on dark silver (mirror caps & side markers MBE) but I am not a fan of the bold stripes or regular bonnet stripes in those colors on DS

If you really wanna UJ up a dark silver I too think it would look best to use the silver colored UJ accessories

But HEY, it's your MINI do whatcha want...

+1, I love the "black jack" theme w/ DS Minis. Would defintely look into it if I had gotten a DS.

I have a buddy with a black Triumph Bonneville.. with a gray-scale UJ on the tank. The all black bike really brings out the Jack.

Now I am deciding between the "BlackJack" look on Dark Silver that you guys have detailed above, or this look with the red/black interior shown above:

Thoughts?

I think you should go with the Dark Silver with the black jack theme and then the red interior, that would be killer imo.

I saw the mirror caps on this sight. Are these REALLY for the early models MINI's??? because i have ONLY seen the black jack ones for R56's. Also, they all say "does not fit powerfold mirror backs. What is that? Are they refering to the entire mirror being able to fold, or just the glass? because i can move the glass with those little switches
