Ok, lots of folks have ordered 2007 minis, how many days did it take from the day you ordered it to the day you picked it up? Just curious, my wife ordered her MCS about 2 weeks ago, curious what the 'average' is to the west coast (SoCal)

 

29 days from day I placed my order---I got very lucky--caught fast production date and shipping

 

Im in the same position as you... ordered a couple weeks ago and now mines scheduled for production!! Ive heard 2 months at the fastest.

 

6 weeks to the date, my dealer ship is in tennessee though.

 

Mine took about 5 weeks. I was quoted 6-8 weeks.

Ordered Aug 18 2007, built Sept 7, shipped Sep 13, arrived Sept 21, took delivery Sep 29.

 

I waited just about 9 weeks though they were telling me it would be about 12 weeks. Not too bad of a wait.

 

5 weeks, 2 days (4 hours,13 minutes, 12 seconds)

 

about 14 weeks. It was well worth the wait. I'm now a part of this crazy NAMily.

 

I'm going on 2 months... still waiting

Ordered from LB Mini on July 17 and car arrived Sept. 18...

 

Big question to ask you MA - when is MY production number going in ??? I ordered mine on 8/31 - car was being built on 9/2 and finished on 9/8 - took until 9/18 for it to get to the dock and waits its turn to get on a ship - it just passed through the Panama Canal today https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=113907

It should arrive in LA on 10/08 and then maybe a week up to the bay area, for you in LA it would be much faster.... so, from 8-31 to 10/08 is about 5 weeks and change - add a few days to your dealer and your set.. Depending on your dealer and what production slot you get - that's the trick from what I have learned... where did he put you in line????

ordered 7/23. recieved 9/26.

over 9 weeks and my MINI came through the east coast.

 

Been 3 months today, yeah 12 weeks and still waiting. I had an extra month wait due to the dealer having to wait for their next allocation.

 

I ordered mine on 9/20 and it's already built (9/30) and waiting for transport. Was anybody elses's built this quickly? Once it's built, how long does it take to load, ship and arrive at the dealership?
I'm close to the New York port (about 3 hours by car/truck).

 

They told us it would take about 6 weeks and it arrived in 4.

 

Ordered on 7/21, completed production on 8/5, enroute to the west coast 8/9 and picked up 9/20. I've had it for less than two weeks and already have washed it 4 times, which is probably the same number of times I've washed my 03 Jetta

 

I ordered mine on Feb 3rd, recieved on May 19th = about 15 weeks

...I had it for 2 weeks and then the dealer had it for almost 4 weeks, got it back for a day, then back to the dealer for another week, then got it back for 4 weeks, then dealer got it for another day, then I got it back for 4 weeks, then dealer got it back for a day, I have had it for about 5 weeks, and now the dealer gets it back on Tuesday........
I think I'm paying for us to share the MINI

 

It really took six weeks to get it after it left England? Yikes. Did it come to a west coast port or east coast port?

 

I beieve it arrived at Port Hueneme (California) on 9/4 and in Portland on 9/13. My MA had 17 cars to deliver and I wasn't the first on his list. It was certainly worth the wait.

By the way, I got lucky on the timing. My car finished on the 5th, and wouldn't have been on the ship that it was on if that ship wasn't delayed 2 days. Otherwise, it would have waited at the port for almost 2 weeks. My MA told me mid-Sept to early Oct, so I cannot complain.

One more thing: Cool car you've got on order!

 

I placed my order on 9/18 and it went into production two days ago. Waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting.............. :impatient

 

Seven months and still waiting through a deployment to Iraq :( Ill be picking her up before the 27th though!

 

Exactly 4 weeks from ordering to delivery at my dealer in PA. I got incredibly lucky throughout the process though...
