Another MINI day. Installing the Union Jack

After much complaining and looking for assistance from this forum, I installed the Union Jack roof graphic today. I think was was just in the mood for more "Mini Time".

You can see where I took the easy road and cut a box around the antenna. It took about 2 hours, and I think it looks cool.

Really nice, I think!

I think cutting out the box was a good idea! Looks neat and tidy and professional, IMO.

I saw a roof graphic recently where they tried to cut it out to fit the antenna and it didn't turn out well, kind of jagged around the base.

This is better, plus easier, my kind of idea!

Great job! I think the antenna cutout is just fine. I also like the Spitfire reflected in the window.

Wow! Nice catch. My white 1979 Triumph Spitfire. I have owned that car for 22 years.

VERY Nice!!!

Do you all think this grey/silver union jack (like the one exactly below) will look good on my Mellow Yellow MCS? Since my car is Yellow I think the grey/silver theme would be best. Do you all agree?

Can someone photochop it onto my Mellow Yellow MINI? PLEASE....

I couldnt get any higher up to get a good shot of the roof, Sorry.

If I could only have a high res picture I wuld do it. It would be interesting to see it on yoyur mini; I say that because we both share the same color scheme.

Take if from someone that installed all the graphics on the last car, you did a great job. If I had one criticism, I would have removed the antenna and then installed the graphic. Otherwise, it looks great.

I wanted to do that, but heard that you have to drop the headliner to remove the antenna in the 07 model. No way was I going to do that.

Yes, it's the OEM. I liked that fact that it used the "white" from the roof, and doesn't cover all of the paint. This way after waxing with some hydro, the whole top shines, and the uncovered roof really shines.
