Strange Home Link Behavior

The Home Link remote control garage opener buttons work as expected when I approach the garage to enter. But for some dumb reason, once inside, the buttons will not close the garage door nor open it when I want to head outside. I guess the signal is weak or directed in a narrow scope but I've not seen this quirk on any other car I've owned with Home Link. Anyone else have this issue?

Just checked Skeeter and his works as long as the power system is active.

What seems to be the problem, perhaps we can help.

Yup, this way not even Superman's x-ray vision can see what I'm doing in there

The Homelink only has power when the cars is ON. When you roll in the garage, shut your car off, you no longer have power.

Leave car running, hit button, shut car off. It will work just fine.
