Production Group Week - Question

Finally placed my order yesterday at EB Mini - got home last night to find an email with my order - Production order Number and the link to start checking.. How do I tell what production week my car is in?? Is it from this groupe of numbers?

Assigned To: W-35-10731

Just for grins - I went to the link last night and again this morning - entered my production number just to see what it would say and this is what I got:

Step 2 : Verify Your Vehicle Information The production number you entered, xxx7467, is for a British Racing Green Metallic 2007 MINI Cooper. If this is not your vehicle please check the production number you entered and click Re-Check Production Number. If this is your vehicle please click Continue.

Now my Mini is Pepper White - Was I just too early or what - any thoughts??

Yes, I did call my MA and sent him an email = Had to laugh - Yesterday he was very attentive to place my order - now after he has my Deposit - I call and email him about the above question and NOTHING - let the games begin, lol..................... I am sure he will either call or email today or next week - just had to laugh...

The OL car listing is wrong when you first log on. I think mine took about 24 hours before it shows the correct car. My PW was listed as Chili Red!

Hi Harley~ The OL won't be accurate for a couple of days, BUT! If you get within a week of production and it's still not right, call you MA or the manager if the MA won't call back and have them pull the paperwork to make sure all is well.
My MA said several times that the order was just fine, and it would take about 3 weeks before I needed to worry. Well, I called him a day before Scoop was to go into production, and it turns out he missed putting in part of my order!!
Luckily it's something the dealership can do, and not too major.

If you received the paperwork from the dealer with the production number, go through it item by item and check it VERY carefully against your own order sheet if you printed it from the configurator. I wish I had! The only stuff that may not show up is the step 5 dealer installed options.

Cheers, and have fun with the whole tracking process!!!

I have NO Dealer installed options - actually, I keep my pretty simple. I am 57 and have gone through the Harley sickness (simular to the Mini, lol) starting back in 1996.. On my third HD now and love to ride - When bulding the carr on the configurator - I felt like fixing up my first Harley - I do see how easy people can really get charged in ordering their Mini...

I did do as you suggested and went over item by item - at first I saw the Anthracite hadliner "Description 4AA" was N/C = cool, then I saw it again as
(Description ZAH @ $200) Oh well, thought I got a freebee,lol....

The only thing I do not see is where I choose the 15" Rotator Spoke wheels?? I will check on that...

If you have your production number, you can call/email your MA and ask what production week you're in or call 1-866 ASK MINI. As for the OL, it always puts in the wrong options, but should be corrected in a few days. Why it happens? No idea. I think the last time I talked to EB Mini, they said the earliest slot was for Mid Nov-Beg Dec, so I'm guessing somewhere in the early 40's. If you don't mind me asking, who was your MA?

Blair - and so far he has been very good - Like I said - yesterday was Friday and they were all busy - I do expect to hear back from him and this is a Holiday weekend - I went to both EB and Neillo in Sac - I also talked to a few other owners who went to other bay area dealers and ended up coming back to EB - I placed my order with Blair at 11am on Friday - 3 hours later I got an email with the order and Production order.. Pretty good... for all I know, he left for the weekend after the email - still can poke a little fun at him about not answering my emails... lol
