Is that the one with pointy ears?

I had a nasty support beam in my last garage that wreaked hell on my Benz's driver door a couple times as well as concrete on the passenger side. I covered both w/ remnant carpet and that solved the problem. However the best solution was selling the place and getting one w/ a bigger garage w/ no support beams in it .

What about those pool noodles wrapped in cloth with magnets attached to em? It'll make it stick?

I would get two long pieces of dense foam and cover with felt. These would be the door bumpers. I would then make three cloth straps that would go over the top of the car so the the foam pieces were held up horizontally about mid way up the door.(These foam pieces would span from wheel to wheel) . An example of the long foam might be those round 6' long foam swiming pool toys. I would then cover the whole thing with an outdoor car cover. It might take a couple of extra minutes each night but you will be much happier in the long run.
