I think my operational secret compartment ( wk 23 build) may be rattling. As an experiment, I opened while driving and the sound seemed to vanish.

Has anyone noticed a similar issue?

 

My compartment rattles too, but if I have to choose between rattle and sealed, I'm happy with a little noise. I haven't had a chance to try to fix it so I'll be glad to hear from anyone who has.

 

I thought the whole deal with "fixing" the door was beaucse of the rattling. Now they have "fixed" it and it still rattles. Hoepfully they have a fix or I can figure something out to stop it. Its not loud but those subtle ones make me crazy.

 

Mine works and rattles as well. I had it in service for the version 26 SW upload and they ordered parts to repair it. I do notice when I press on it the rattle goes away. I actually shimmed it with a folded business card and that stopped it as well. Hopefully the ordered parts will fix it.

I'll post what the fix was when I get it in.

 

My MA showed me that they glue on these little rubber plug thingees so it doesn't rattle. I think it puts just enough pressure on it when it's closed. Might wanna run to an auto parts store and pick some up.

 

Mine has the little rubber thingees, doesn't help. Long term they lose their resilience. I'm hoping the parts are a permanent fix. I really believe my rattle is the rail mechanism for opening and closing not the actual cover ratttling against the opening.
