LED mood lighting

I've only ever seen/driven an R56 during the day, so I couldn't really see the mood lighting at work. Anyone have any pictures?

I dont have pics, but the mood lighting is not very noticable. It not to bright but looks ok. I replaced all the interior lights with blue LEDs. Looks pretty sweet. Heres some pics. I ordered them from fastmini.net.

My biggest complaint with the mood lighting is that you cannot adjust the brightness without adjusting the brightness of the dash instruments. So, if I adjust the mood lighting to be visible, the dash lights are way too bright for me.

Some cool stuff on that site. Ut-oh, more boxes will be coming. Did you get the panel LED for the dome or the "conventional LED"? If you got the "conventional" one, how did that hook up?

When I ordered it there was only one kit. It didnt have the larger dome light. However, the dome light should not be hard to hook up. I believe you just take out the factory lights and plug in the new LEDs. I found that the easiest way to get the old bulbs out and new bulbs in without burning your hands is disconnect the bulb housing and pull it all out (with the exception of the dome and reading lights). Its pretty simple but if you have questions feel free to ask. I just put them in yesterday.

and remember LEDs have polarity so its best to hook one up at a time and if it does not light take it out and plug it in the opposite way.
