thanks, slag. I agree with some of that now. And even the stuff I don't personally agree with, I can see your point.

Good job, slag!!!!

I must say I am really loving the speedo/audio combo now that I'm learning to toggle through all the information available in the readout. Being able to display OBC info there, along with entirely different info on the tach, is sheer brilliance!!!! I generally toggle between OBC, CD info, and the simple, clean time/date display. I like it and it makes this space so useful. In fact, I'd probably be happy being able to display other info there as well....like entering a mode and selecting displays similar to how one might select radio stations. There may well be more stuff in there...I'm not done snooping!!! Suddenly the whole setup is making a great deal of sense!!

Thanks, slag1911--those are excellent points--pro and con.

As for the ride height--I might be wrong, but I think it's an optical illusion. I think the height is the same as the R53--just looks different, to tie in with the front end. And as you know, that design was dictated by the new European pedestrian collision law...

Why can't some people get over the idea of old verses new and accept the fact there always will be change. This kind of reminds me of some who don't want to be known as Americans, rather be associated with where their ancestors came from.Q ( I believe this is what you call havind your thread hijacked)

Okay....more love here. The toggles feel great...and there's lots more of 'em!!! After a week of travel driving a mini van, I'm taking another day off tomorrow just to drive my MINI. Yeah, I love this car!!!
