I keep mine blue as it fits my interior/exterior colors. But, I actually have found a use for the mood lighting: I generally keep my headlights in the auto position. Sometimes, when it's raining during the day, it's hard to tell if my lights have activated by looking at the dash (as they are supposed to be on when it rains). All I have to do is look up at the light dots on my overhead console. If I see blue, I know my lights activated.

BTW, I installed the blue LED interior lights kit. If you do this, I would recommend keeping the original white lights in the map lights and the boot area.

Blue here also.I tried the different colors but found the blue more appealing at night when driving.

I use the purple. The other ones are okay. I haven't really played around with them. Purple is the one my husband left it on when we were driving home from picking Lucy up and I've never changed it.

Blue nearly all the time. Orange occasionally.

 

Blue seems to be most common. Purple is for the girls (like me!). Funny thing about purple--I've read that it is the color for "wishy-washy" personalities.

Although I don't have my car yet, I am guessing I will choose orange. I am big in coodinating car color schemes, and will mellow yellow exterior and orange dash display, orange ambient will compliment this.

Yup, you're out of luck. They started adding them 2007+ (note the forum categories - you strayed!) It's just one of the nice little perks.

I keep mine on BLUE...'coz it's so pretty. It clashes with the orange dash lights, but oh well.

 

I will go blue when I get mine (LB exterior, c'mon!) and will probably look for some way to make my instrument lighting blue as well. Gotta be consistent.

 

I have mine orange most of the time to match the speedo but Im going through a blue phase at the moment. I wish the speedo would change colour too, that would be very cool.
