So blue.

My wife's favorite color, and nice to live with at night. The light, in the car, I mean.

Had it on auto cycle with the hot chocolate cooper, but went red in the new coupe. OCD says it has to match when possible.

So I took my 2011 Hot Chocolate MSCS (hence SSPRESO11) for its schedule oil change last Monday. Saw a used 09 JCW on the lot, figured check it out. If I could get a good deal maybe save some money per month. Turns out they had a deposit on it already.

Eye balled the show room JCW coupe thinking it was pretty much the dream car I built online. Heck they even had the run-flats off it and 18s on.

Had them run number expecting something unmanageable... it was a bunch, but very doable.
Ran number past wife, expecting a loud 'what? hell no!'... instead I got a 'I knew this day was coming. Go for it.'

So my free oil change cost me big time! But so worth it! It's everything Mini dialed to 11!

I'm no longer allowed to take the car to the dealer alone now.

Haha, nice to see the actual dream come true for you. And props to your wife to support you. Great story! It's exactly for this reason that I hate waiting for any amount of time at the MINI dealership, I end up drooling over the JCWs .
