greetings

Hey guys (and gals). i am new here. just wanted to say hello. i am currently leasing an 06 gto. it is a very fun car, but i am not diggin the average of 18mpg. i have always liked the little minis, but the changes made with the new generation makes them even more appealing. 36mpg on the highway while having fun is amazing!! may have to pick one up when my lease is done.

Hiya - glad you found your way here. Lots of great info. and MINI peeps as you are probably already finding out. We hope to see you post about a new MINI soon... Not that there's anything wrong with the GTO - but - well - you'll see...

Sorry, I don't think I'll be able to help you make up your mind!

The MC belongs to the wife, I love 'em both!

Welcome to NAM mate! I'm seriously amazed at your driving skills. My distant cousin owns an '05 GTO and gets about 12-15mpg.

Welcome to the loony bin. There is also a nut bin available for those who cannot stand loonies.

Mine gets 12-14 around town but still gets 22mpg on the hwy. It's heavily modded and not a DD. First time on the road our MC got 33 on the hwy for 900 miles.
