Heya! So FIIIINALLY I have some pics to post here... I know... Super lazy. Anyway, here she is... Not too many changes, just switched out my antenna, installed a harmon kardon ipod player thing, new wheels, etc.
These two pics were taken out in Worcester, MA when I did a small meet with a group I'm with (Mass Motoring Club). Bout 15 of us showed with our Minis... Woulda been more but we were at capacity at the diner...

Well, I should add myself to the list. I ordered mine on Dec 30, 2008 and took delivery of my LiB Cooper on Feb 13, 2009. Probably one of the last ones produced. I wondered how it got down the line so fast, then I learned that they were discontinuing the color, so I guess they had to run the rest of the LiB orders first thing after the holiday break.

looking for new wheels for my lb/b....

im pretty set with team dynamic pro race 1.2 but am having difficulty choosing between matte black and anthracite grey.

ive seen a matte black lb/b and it looks great... but i think very few people have the anthracite color. I have seen an audi a6 blue with gunmetal wheels and i looks fabulous...

suggestions appreciated...

 

I've just fitted a set of Matte Gunmetal Breyton wheels to mine think suit colour well did consider Matte Black but lose the definition of wheel with black in my opinion

Has anyone put white sport stripes on a Lib with a black roof ? Just thinking of doing the white sport stripes down boot, bonnet, & bumpers, nothing on the roof. Maybe adding the white mirror caps as well.
Any pictures ? even photoshopped.

I just picked up a 2009 Lightning Blue MCS this past Sunday. It was a dealer demo model, so it is probably one of the few "new" LB MINIs available.

This picture was taken at the dealership before the black bonnet stripes were installed.

Wow... So from the sounds of it the Lightning Blue color really is being discontinued.. Thats a shame. :(

You want to Trade LOL ? Monday i fit 3 sets of golf clubs and my two sons and went to play a round of golf and it was a tight fit !

Hello all. I am new to the mini world. Just bought a '09 mini S manual in the best color ever Lightning Blue! It has a white top and side views. I am picking it up from the dealer in a week or 2. Any advise or tips for a 1st time mini owner?

Good choice . I here its the last ones in Lighting blue .
Advice in curves hit the sport botton and use two hands and hold one , no need to use the brakes . Happy motoring when you pick the car up .
Back end of mini gets dirty fast ! Turbo is fast = hold on !
