Now that winter's rolling in, make sure you find a long flat parking lot and adjust the xenon's, from the factory they're angled way too far down, if you can get them perfectly level visibility will be 100x better at night (and you still won't bother anyone). All you need is a long allen wrench. I just got a loaner car and was reminded of how out of whack they are from the factory.
Thank you very much. I bought this car with 37000 miles on it, now I have 58000 miles, and I was shocked to see all the options that were in it. It has everything less Nav. When I took it in under warranty, the dealer happened to be the one that sold it the first time and told me this car sold for $29900. I was shocked. The light from the headlamps is fantastic as is. Maybe someone tweaked them before. I put the driving lights on because I like the look, but they only give me a little more light around the edges, than the xenons. To find this one with even the rear fog light shocked me. I was thinking of stepping up to a Clubman, but they don't seem to be optioned the same way this one is, so I'm going to keep it until the rear seat room start stunting my son's growth, then I'll move up.
That is quite the tricked out base-cooper. The JCW Challenge wheels, scuttles, and xenon lights really make that a classy little car. I actually prefer the hood without the scoop.

I know I was amazed after giving them a little tweak.
New 2012 Lightning Blue almost owner.
Comet made it to the dealer yesterday (12/15/11).
Here he is:

The dealer has to add some accessories. So Comet will look sort of like this when I get him :
So am I in?

Of course you're in! Enjoy!
Just noticed our cars are really similar. Mine is LiB with black mirrors/roof, black bonnet stripes also automatic, will be adding the UJ scuttles soon too. Post some pics of your interior when you can, would love to see the english oak. Mine was also built 10/11!

Cool that our cars are so close.
Happy motoring!
I agree. Very cool cars.
I almost went with the black roof/mirrors and stripes, but then opted for the white. Just didn't like the mirrors white so made them blue. I also considered the UJ on the roof, but decided against that. A little too flashy.
Enjoy your very awesome MINI.
