Future member here!! :D I absolutely LOVE the Lightning Blue color. I'm getting black sport stripes... I hope it looks the way I'm picturing it. In production right now and should take delivery in early August if all goes well.

 

i'm new here and to minis and i'm a future lightning blue owner. i ordered on on friday june 22nd.

i've been fighting the urge to get one for a year and finally pulled the trigger on getting on friday. now comes the long wait on getting it, but i can't wait.

i've ordered the premium package with the checkered surface and it's an automatic.

 

If anyone knows where to get Lightning Blue TOUCH UP PAINT, please let me know! Thanks!

Have you tried your dealer? I bet the body shop would keep it in stock.

 

Yes I have and they don't. doh doh.

 

Aparently touch up paint is better than gold in the mini community. So if you find some , buy 2.

 

Well, once they figure out how to put "Do Not Consume" on the label, there should be plenty available. Unbelievable.

 

Congratulations! I've had Belle since 5/10 and am still smiling when I drive her. It took 9 weeks from order to delivery, seemed like a long time while I was waiting, but spending time with NAM helps!

 

Mine is out in the Atlantic, but I wanted to grab a seat before the music stopped...

Just confirmed on the cargo shipping site that my MINI has docked...still a week or two away by time it clears customs and goes thru dealer delivery....not long now

Levine Auto has the Lightning Blue touch-up paint. I have used it and it's a perfect match. Pretty reasonable price, too. Check them out.

I picked up my Mini in Protland Oregon on July2nd 2007 and have been on an extended roadtrip ever since. My Mini, The DB Cooper now has over 8K miles on it and got it's first ticket today from a State Trooper in Ohio. Damn DB just won't slow down.
