I hadn't seen a Lightning Blue Cabrio {which Watson will be-- I'm ordering him next week] so thought I'd post my "Photoshoped" version to share!

Well, getting closer to being an official member of the Lightning Blue Owners Club! Watson is at port awaiting ship assignment!

 

Thought my Mini was to be thru the build process early in the week, but it just posted
early this morning. Now I guess it's off to Southampton. Hope it gets to it's ship soon.

Of course, maybe the next few weeks will give us a chance to find some better weather.

This snow sucks, even though we (WV) didn't get hit nearly as bad as Ohio.

 

Wish I could say something new & wonderful. Watson's been 'awaiting a shipping vessel assignment' since Wednesday and nothing as yet. I'm afraid I may not get out until the 15th...

ColoFalcon! Rudy's is only about 15 miles down the road from where I live and I pass it every day on the way home. But I'll have to be careful not to gain too much weight on that BBQ so I can still fit in my MINI!

Woo-hoo! My MA called and Watson is on the K-Line ship 'Caribbean Highway' due into Charleston on 3-20-08!!!!!! Don't know how long it'll take to get to San Antonio but at least I know he's on board a ship and on his way!

I picked up my Lightning Blue /white top and stripes March 07 (Ordered in Febuary)

Just placed an order today! cannot wait... these next 6 weeks are gonna be horrible!

lightning blue with black top... hope to get my own custon black sport stripes that extend all the way to the bottom front and rear bumper... have yet to see that setup on NAM... but if you have it... post your pics up... i want to see it!

 

I still haven't found a set of stripe's that're "just right". The lightning blue & black looks amazing as-is with a nice coat of wax on it.
I suppose you could say I spent my stripes money on the detailers paradise kit instead ...
Some shiny wheels to match the brightwork & replace the horrid oem units is money well spent too.

the law in MD is 35% for front side, back side and rear windows... thinking bout 30... should compliment the chrome trim blackout, jcw black grille and of course... black roof

 

that's the 'legal' 35%, doesn't seem to darken the inside much or hurt visibility, but it offers a bit of privacy and looks very black in most settings.
it was also the lightest tint the shop stocked.
