I just never felt like I needed support. Li B is a GREAT color. Really stands out, and I've had tons of people tell me they LOVE how sporty it looks.

Lightning Blue is a great color...when I order...it will be Lightning Blue with Lightning Blue roof. I saw it this weekend at a dealer and loved it.

I have been told that the Lightning Blue paint is in very short supply, which could be why there's not a lot of LiB out there.

Considering how great a color it is (I think it has a lot of depth to it), I'm not surprised it might a bit tricky to make.

Short supply? They gave me one.

And besides, support groups are for weird people who either have A) problems wth whatever choice they made or B) who have problems that they can't get over themselves. I don't think I fall into either of those categories.

I think you might want to call it The Lightning Blue Owners Club, none of us need support.

hey ... i'm in on this club too!! i considered PW, LaB, and CR, but after seeing LiB up close, i knew that it was the one! even up here in cloudy Seattle, i found it to be much brighter than it looks in many pics and certainly on the configurator. the metallic really seems to work with the it as well.

i'm heading down to Phoenix to pick mine up tomorrow (hoo-rah!) and drive her the rest of the way home! i'll post pics asap ... in the meantime there's one in my gallery taken by the dealer pre-inspection.

Well I'll join in too. Considering that the majority of minis I have seen here in California are either LaB, CR or DS I had to buck that trend. Then I saw how awesome the LiB looks in person. Man, the online configurator doesn't do it justice, its so much more exciting in person.

Me Three

Support group?... We don't need no stinkin' support group!

Someone could write a book on the ever changing color history for MINI. Especially for the blues: Laser-Electric-Indi-Space-Lightning-Oxygen what others have I missed?

I'm very happy with my LiB/W MCS. Still love the color after 2 weeks and 2 days of ownership.
